It's been a few years now since the last time we saw a brand-new Toyota Venza on the lot at Lithia Toyota of Redding. The former wagon-style crossover was discontinued back in 2015. But now, the model name is back in our new vehicle inventory, and it has quite a few surprises up its sleeve for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
The first thing you should know about this latest vehicle named Venza is the redesign. Whereas the previous model had a longer, wagon-style appearance with lower ground clearance, this latest version is a more-traditional SUV style. A midsized crossover with four doors and seating for five, it continues to deliver the versatile cargo capacity of the former model.
The biggest news for the 2021 Venza, however, is what's under the hood. This model is strictly a hybrid SUV. It gets a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine that works with two electric motors to produce 219 horsepower and impressive fuel economy.
