The 2018 Toyota Camry will deliver some great upgrades, including several redesigns aimed at adding some extra agility to the beloved car. When you buy a Camry, you'll a choice between three unique powertrains: a 2.5-liter inline-4, 3.5-liter V6, and 2.5-liter inline-4 gasoline-electric hybrid.

The 2.5-liter inline-4

The weakest engine available for the 2018 Camry, the 2.5-liter inline-4 still delivers 203 horsepower and 184 pounds-feet torque. And what it lacks in power, it makes up for in fuel economy. Its EPA-rated for 29/41 MPG in cities and on the highway.

The 3.5-liter V6

With the 2018 Camry, Toyota has taken aim at producing a sedan that's nimbler and more fun to drive than previous models. If you really want to take advantage of that, the 3.5-liter V6 powertrain might be your engine of choice. While its 22/32 MPG is less than what you'll get with the 2.5-liter inline-4, it's been rated to produce 301 horsepower and 267 pounds-feet torque.

The 2.5-liter inline-4 gasoline electric hybrid

If fuel economy is what you want from your 2018 Camry, its gasoline electric hybrid is a must-have. Producing comparable horsepower to the standard 2.5-liter engine, the hybrid version gets an impressive 51/53 city/highway MPG.
